Raby pitched FarmMind live in the final round of the Farm Bureau Ag Innovation Challenge, the American Farm Bureau Federation's national competition for agricultural startups, at the 2026 American Farm Bureau Convention in Anaheim, California.

FarmMind was one of four finalists chosen from 10 semifinalist teams that had pitched virtually in September. In Anaheim, Raby presented on stage before a three-judge panel (Mark McHargue, president of the Nebraska Farm Bureau; Joe Waddell, director of market innovation at Horizon Farm Credit; and Frank Wong, director of stakeholder relations at Bayer) and an audience of Farm Bureau members, investors and industry representatives.

He pitched FarmMind as a management platform for agriculture that combines the first unified system of record with an agricultural AI that answers with citations, bringing field notes, mapping, regulatory compliance, financial tracking and agronomic insight together in one place.

The judges named FarmMind the winner: first place and $100,000 to grow the company.Raby competed as a Louisiana Farm Bureau member. The Ag Innovation Challenge, now in its 12th year, is run by AFBF in partnership with Farm Credit.
