Colin Raby is the founder and CEO of FarmMind, an AI agronomy platform that won the American Farm Bureau Federation's 2026 Ag Innovation Challenge and now supports farmers across more than a million acres. Before founding FarmMind full time, he served as one of the first AI specialists in the U.S. House of Representatives, working on artificial intelligence policy for Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi and the House Select Committee on the CCP. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from LSU.

Colin Raby is the founder and CEO of FarmMind, an AI agronomy platform that turns weather, soil, regulatory and crop-science data into cited, research-backed recommendations for farmers. FarmMind began in LSU's first large language model course in the fall of 2023 and has since won the American Farm Bureau Federation's 2026 Ag Innovation Challenge, the Pelican Cup, the Nexus Technology Cup and the J. Terrell Brown Venture Challenge, while growing to more than a million acres under management. Before founding FarmMind full time, Raby was one of the first AI specialists to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives, working on artificial intelligence policy for Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi and the House Select Committee on the CCP, and presenting at the Congressional Hackathon. A graduate of the LSU Ogden Honors College in mechanical engineering with minors in aerospace engineering and economics, he previously interned at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center and Enercon, served as a Louisiana Governor's Fellow, and was named Louisiana's Eagle Scout of the Year. His writing on AI and agriculture has appeared in the Washington Examiner.
