Rise Tigers ticket enters presidential race seeking to unite campus, end partisanship

Read the full story at The ReveilleAs a junior, Raby ran for Student Government president with broadcast journalism sophomore Georgia Peck as his running mate, on a ticket called Rise Tigers. The pair announced in January 2022 with a promise to end partisanship in SG and to follow through: "Ideas are good, but making ideas happen is way better."
The campaign took them through debates on Title IX, transparency and minority issues. Rise Tigers was eliminated in the first round with 437 votes, in a close race won by EVOLVE.A year later, Raby told The Reveille the race had given him "a crash course in the flaws of the election system," and he helped push the reforms that followed.
