Accepts Eagle Scout of the Year at the American Legion state convention
From the American Legion's Department of Louisiana convention in Alexandria: thanks for Boys State, the Oratorical contest, veterans' oral histories, and on to nationals.
Blessed and honored that the Louisiana American Legion selected me the Eagle Scout of the Year for the State of Louisiana! I greatly enjoyed the presentation at the State Convention in Alexandria and appreciated the opportunity to speak to everyone in attendance.
From Boys State, to the Oratorical competition, to interviewing veterans for the Library of Congress, to the Eagle Scout of the Year contest — thank you very much to the American Legion for the many opportunities you have provided. One step closer; now on to the national competition.
