Florida International University invited Raby to present and lead a tabletop discussion for its Future Forward: AI and Leadership Fly-In, a seminar series in Washington for a handpicked group of AI and public policy scholars, both technical and non-technical.

Drawing on his work as an AI specialist supporting the House Select Committee on the CCP, the conversation covered how AI hardware and software have become a key arena in what some call this generation's space race; the history and future of export controls; how government can use AI not just to automate but to transform how it delivers services and makes decisions; what good domestic AI policy requires; and the future of formal education in the Intelligence Age.Invited by FIU's Michelle Castro, Ph.D. One of the scholars later called the discussion with Raby "easily the best" of the seminar.
