Inducted into the National Residence Hall Honorary
LSU's Residence Hall Association selects Raby, then a Residential Assistant in Camellia Hall, for the National Residence Hall Honorary, the leadership honorary for students who live on campus.

Colin Raby was inducted into the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) at LSU in the spring of 2022, selected by LSU's Residence Hall Association along with a fellow Residential Assistant from Camellia Hall. NRHH is the leadership honorary for students who live on campus, and has chapters at more than 300 colleges and universities across North America.NRHH describes itself as "a leadership-based organization comprised of exemplary residential students who value recognition and service," on the site of NACURH, the national association it belongs to.
Raby was then two years into four as a Residential Assistant, across four LSU communities. His Residential Assistant file lists the four: Louise Garig Hall, Camellia Hall, East Campus Apartments and Nicholson Gateway. "Thank you to LSU RHA for selecting me and my fellow Camellia RA … to be inducted," he wrote on Instagram on May 3, 2022, calling his co-inductee "easily the best RA at LSU."
He went on to serve as the chapter's treasurer until he graduated in 2024. The Residence Hall Association was where his campus leadership began: as a freshman he was elected its senator for Spruce Hall and named RHA's Senator of the Year in the spring of 2020, the semester he first won a seat in the Student Senate.
After the induction, he made it back to his old high school, U-High, for the last concert its band director led before her retirement.
