Chairs Student Government's Budget and Appropriations Committee
Leads the Senate committee that allocates Student Government's budget for two years, fall 2022 through spring 2024.
After serving as vice chair, Raby chaired the Student Senate's Budget and Appropriations Committee from fall 2022 through spring 2024. He opened his first year with a bill letting the committee fund student needs over the summer, explained to The Reveille how Student Government is funded (the student activities fee and the initiative fee) and steered the 2023 fiscal-year budget through the Senate.
The work led to one of his signature projects as chair: a public financial dashboard, launched in fall 2023, so students could see how their fees were spent.
